Biological Men in Women’s Sport
A common trope that opponents use to mislead you

It irritates me every time I see this mentioned — biological men; when used in reference to a transgender woman. It actually tells me a lot about the person who is saying it. It’s blatantly obvious to me, that they have no idea what they are talking about and are very misinformed.
Still, it doesn’t stop them from using it to invoke visions of someone like a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson attempting to participate with little girls on a soccer team. But that, I believe is the intent of it’s usage.
Let me say right off the bat, that I do not support biological men competing in women’s sport. But in reality, there are rules to really prevent that from ever happening in the first place. And guess what? They have always existed!
What I do support is, transgender women, after a minimum period of transition, to be able to compete in women’s sport.
Rules applied (in general) to Adults
In regards to transgender women, rules for them have, at least officially, existed since roughly 2003, and before that, they had been somewhat self policed going back to the beginning of women’s sport in general. Sex testing itself (keeping biological men out) started in the 1940s. What they are really wanting to you to believe, when they say that, is that Transgender Women are Biological Men. In fact, in conversation, they will not even mention the term “transgender women”. I believe the ones using the term are specifically instructed to always refer to them as biological men. Because this is truly a political agenda, invented to tug of the heart strings of the voting public. Combined with phrases like “Saving girls sport”, or “Protecting Women”.
